2007 Annual National Conference
National President William Applegate extends an
invitation to all CPBC
members to attend the 2007 Annual National Conference. This year's theme is
"Leadership and Living the Faith". This theme is based on Pope Benedict's
XVI's first Encyclical "Deus Caritas Est" (God is Love).
The conference will be held on April 20-21 at the Hyatt Regency San
Francisco Airport in Burlingame. With gas prices soaring, this year's
conference is conveniently located close to home.
Friday evening will start with a 5:30PM reception, followed by dinner with
Archbishop George Niederauer of San Francisco. Saturday will be an all-day
conference with
five speakers. The day will end with a lovely afternoon
mass, and dinner with Bishop Stephen Blaire of Stockton.
The National Board has lined up a great group of speakers:
- Ambassador Ray Flynn, former Ambassador to the Vatican, 3 time Mayor of Boston,
and best selling author
- Mark Brumley, President of Ignatius Press
- Noel Irwin Hentschel, co-founder of American Tours International
- Patrick Lencioni, founder and president of The Table Group
- Ned Dolejsi, Executive Director of Catholic Conference in Sacramento
Please take a moment to look on the attached document, detailing all the
speakers' impressive background.
The two-day conference fee is only $40.00. Online registration and payment
can easily be made by logging onto:

discounted rooms have been reserved at the special rate of $119. Attendees
